Any advice on how to draw people?

I love to draw, and write. Its the way i express myself, and i was wondering if anyone had an good websites, or tips i could use. I am trying to figure out how to draw full bodied people, without making them look unproportioned.

There are certain proportions of the body you need to keep in mind when you are drawing the human figure. In the diagram linked to below, different parts of the body are compared to the size of the face.
