  • Any advice on how to get rid of identity theft?

I got my car stolen a year ago and it had college information in it and the people have been using my name, the local police department know about they arent any help, i had perfect credit before now its all messed up how do i fix all of this i want to buy a house soon??Any advice on how to get rid of identity theft?
Depending on your state you can place a credit hold on your SSN. This requires a phone call before any new accounts can be opened.

Can anyone give me advice on step by step how to open a fashion/modeling agency in New York?

I have a non profit agency currently that runs a charity fashion program for youth... I want to branch off and start a for-profit modeling agency in the 5 boroughs of NYC. Obviously not as big as Ford and Elite but it is an area I want to venture into. How do I begin to set up formally? Can anyone give me advice on step by step how to open a fashion/modeling agency in New York?
You need to speak with the Small Business Administration because NY has so many different rules, regulations and licensing requirements for talent agencies. There are laws regarding how much commission you can charge, how you need to employ your models, what sort of insurance you need to have, special requirements for models under age 16, etc, etc.

I worked for a large agency and we had an entire legal department just dealing with all of the state regulations because they change all the time.

Your first step is becoming licensed as a talent agent in NY State as well as an employment agency in NY City which has its own requirements

    http://home.nyc.gov/html/dca/html/licens鈥?/a>

I seriously would not consider starting a modeling agency in this economic climate. Model bookings are down 40-50% even at top agencies as magazines are closing, advertisers are cutting down on new campaigns, and designers keep pulling out of NY Fashion Week. A number of well-known NY agencies like Karin have closed because the market is already over-saturated with agencies and there is not enough work to support them all. There are rumors that two of the top 10 agencies are going to merge because both are experiencing such severe losses that they cannot continue without a partnership.

Any advice on how to reaffirm the skin?

I've recently lost 45 lbs.. Feels great BUT I ended up w/flaccid skin on my arms, legs, and belly area! Any suggestions to fix this prob. will help!Any advice on how to reaffirm the skin?
It depends on your age partly. If you're under 30, the skin might tighten up in time. Be sure to exercise and some skin firming lotions (like Nivea) help. If you're older than 30, your skin doesn't have the same elasticity as a younger person does - and it might not be possible to improve it very much without a tummy tuck. A friend of mine who is a personal trainer thinks that weight training can help with loose skin.

Good luck!Any advice on how to reaffirm the skin?
thats why u dont use quick fixes for things like pills and surgery ur supposed do exercise daily and eat healthy wich will slowly lose weight but it will help ur body catch up with the loss of fat

Any advice on how to get over extreme guilt?

Had a knot in my stomach for a few days now, feeling nauseous. Was debating whether to adopt a 6 yr old adult tom cat from the SPCA. Felt sorry for him, so I adopted him. Once he was home I noticed his urine was extremely potent and smelly, which ';should'; go away in a couple of weeks. Brought him out a couple times he would scratch our furniture. Our existing cat was acting scared and not purring like her normal self. I felt guilty for my existing cat, felt guilty for adopting the tom cat and not wanting him anymore because he is a great cat. I took him back to the SPCA yesterday after having him for a couple days and feel horrible. Realized I was a ';one'; cat person, I can't handle two. I didn't feel the same towards the tom cat like I did my existing one, I felt a little bitter towards him for smelling up my house and making my current cat act different. How can I get over this guilt of sending him back. Adopting him and sending him back was one of the hardest choices I've had to makeAny advice on how to get over extreme guilt?
One should not feel guilty when they have committed no transgressions. Guilt is relieved by forgiveness and atonement. You have nothing to atone for. You have not harmed the cat. You have not harmed the SPCA. You did your best and the situation did not work out. Be that as it may, make a donation to the SPCA and send them a letter thanking them for their understanding. Then move on.Any advice on how to get over extreme guilt?
The very best thing for you to do is to pray and ask God for forgiveness. He knows that you really did want to help the new cat; while at the same time...you didn't want to create a difficult situation for your existing cat. If you had not already had a cat at home, it might have worked out. You could also call the SPCA and see if the other cat is still there; if it is...you could go check on him and make sure he's alright.
Hey at least you have a conscience. You sound like you have a good heart, which is more than can be said for a lot of people. I think you did the right thing for both of you.
All pets like people are not compatible to everyone. That behavior was what placed him/her outside the home in the first place. Too bad you dis try meds but this cat needs special 24/7 attention I think.

Some animals need someone home with them.
Tell yourself the truth, over and over. The truth being, you tried, you did your best, and that cat will be happier living somewhere else in a one cat household. You, your cat and that cat will all do better because of the wise choice you made. Congratulate yourself, you did something hard, but it was the right thing to do! : )
Remind yourself that this cat was just not fit for YOU! He tore up your furniture (which is not cheap) and he Pee'd your house up with Liquid Sulfur...It's not worth trying to be a good Samaritan if you can't see because your eyes are burning. Chock it up as a mistake and love the cat you have correctly.

  • Good advice on how to increase your pool of vocabulary - and become able to use these words?

Recently, I relieased the great importance of having a large pool of words and phrases at my own disposal - for different social settings, understanding others, describing a thought, an idea, a process, almost anything involving verbal communication.

However, i find myself using the words and phrases I have been accustomed to use since I was a child. Recently, I started to read alot...

Do you know a good method to increase your vocabulary? And how do you master these words - like consciouly incorporate them into your conversation, writing so on? Are there any good books or sites on this subject?

I really want to improve my word choice and in turn the style of my speech!!Good advice on how to increase your pool of vocabulary - and become able to use these words?
Funny: I was looking for a book to increase my vocabulary 2 days ago! But couldn't find any at the bookshop I went to. I know they exist because I've seen them in another bookshop. I'm French but wanted to learn words that expressed ideas and concepts rather than words such as ';table'; or ';leg'; or ';concrete';, etc...

Just go to a book shop. They have such books and they also help you memorise them and use them again. I think a good idea would be to learn those words and write down sentences before using them in a conversation: you don't want to confuse one meaning with another!

Reading is a good idea. But the problem with reading non-fiction is that you tend to learn words which are not grouped together by theme.Good advice on how to increase your pool of vocabulary - and become able to use these words?
When my children were young we made a game of using the word quizz at the front of the Readers Digest and seeing how many they knew and got right. And most particularly could they score higher than mom. It increased their vocabulary immeasurably.
    there is a book called ';Use the Right Word';

Buckley: ';The Right Word';, I was just looking on amazon, seems this newer book is better
i know this sounds silly-read the dictionary-maybe twenty words a day and try to use those words that day at least once when talking to other people-wont be long before you might not understand youself when you speak-old hippie
Reading is certainly a key way to improve your vocabulary, as is having conversations with people who have more extensive vocabularies than you do. Is there a specific area of technical words that you need to know, or just general knowledge words?

Here's a trick I've learned from a book on learning another language, that has worked well both in my second language and in English. As you read, make yourself flashcards with the words that are unfamiliar to you. Rather than putting one word on each card, you can hold the card the ';tall'; way and write about six words on each side. On the first side, number from 1-6 and write the words you are unfamiliar with. Then, flip the card over and number 1-6 again and add the definitions. They don't have to be full dictionary definitions - just enough to make it clear to you what the word means. Carry your set of homemade flashcards with you, and review whenever you have a spare moment. By doing this, you will internalize the vocabulary and find it at your disposal when you need it.
You can read the dictionary, and find words that might be useful to you. Keep a notebook and write the word, the meaning and how it's gonna help you. Eg. U have the word extraodinary-out of the normal stuffys.

Your skills are extraodinary! (plz bear with me if i have any grammartical misstakes.)
immersion. hang around the natives of the language u wanna master. watch gd flicks recommended by the natives. n gd books on tape.songs, poems
read and while speaking practice as hard as you can
    READ, READ, READ!!!!
Go here, and use them too. Find a friend to do this with you. Make it into a game, for the both of you to use the new words in sentences. Laugh about it. Have fun
Well, dont watch tv, read, learn new words everyday one or two a day then write them down the meaning then use it in a sentence say it outloud....but..I must warn you ..just because you expand your vocab it doesnt mean the whole world is.becareful where and to whom you use ur larger voc. it might offend someone!
I think reading all types of book improves your vocab. U can see the word used in a sentence so it helps that was too.
Reading books on different subjects, also enroll in a college course so that you can have some intelligent discourse and not the everyday ';Did you see American Idol'; conversation...
i was acommunications major in college and on the first day of class my professer said that the most inmortant thing about communication is to listen......we gain more knowledge that way and lessen our chance of miscommunicating our own ideas
constantly meditating on few new words silently in your mind and trying to use it appropriately is the key.Once you master it proceed for other new words.Do not make haste.

    aloke
speak slower, to give yourself a chance to choose the words you want to use instead of the ones you first think of

Advice for parents on how much help to give with homework?

My daughter is in year 8 and gets what seem to me to be really demanding homework. She claims not to know what I think she needs to know in order to be able to complete the tasks. Should we let her give in work which is what she can produce on her own but basically incorrect, or should we spend hours effectively teaching her at home? I'm concerned that if we give her too much help then the teacher will think that she knows more than she does, but then if we give her no help, will we know when there's a problem? I'd be really grateful for any advice, from parents and teachers!Advice for parents on how much help to give with homework?
From a (secondary maths) teachers point of view, I see homework as a way of assessing what they have done in class, to see if they have fully understood. I teach Y10 and 11 and encourage the students to write me messages about how they find the work both classwork and homework which helps me. Maybe you or your daughter could write a sentence at the bottom of the work explaining how much support was given.

Children can be sly/lazy, are you sure she's not just making you do the work? Maybe support her by sitting with her while she searches the Internet for help, rather than giving her all the answers. It may be that she starts to remember much more from class if you are not spoon feeding her the answers. But I wouldn't let her hand in wrong homework, as then she is in effect learning something wrong, and Murphy's law would be that she remembers the wrong information.

If you are concerned then contact the head of Year and discuss your concerns, it may be that she is in too high sets and would benefit from being moved down, but only the subject teachers would be able to answer that one!

Hope this helps!Advice for parents on how much help to give with homework?
Our school suggests that homework for our eight year old should take no more then half an hour. If she is stuck, we will explain a question to her etc. After half an hour what is done is done, and we put a note in to say that unable to finish the task in the time.

The school needs to know what the child can do........ if you do too much then you are correct your child may be assessed as being more able and then get less help in class, which perpetuates the problem.

My daughter only gets homework once a week, with reading and spelling on other nights. It is a matter of getting some balance, if she is working hard all day at school then she needs some down time, and also exercise, fun time and family time too.

It might be worth booking an appointment with your daughters teacher and having a chat with her about it. You are both on the same side - wanting the best for your daughter.
as a parent and a teacher, I would definitely help her at home understand what she needs in order to do the homework but definitely let the teacher know what you are doing at home. You might need to have a conference or two with the teachers in order to understand if this is work to follow up lessons in the classroom or to cover material the teacher couldn't cover in school.

I would definitely let the teacher know she's struggling so when the test comes it's not a surprise to teacher that she didn't do well. Maybe the teacher might need to spend a few minutes with your child every day to review.
Discuss this with the teacher who is setting the work, before doing anything else.
I think it is important to help children understand the method, help them as much as you can in teaching them how to work things out but not actually giving specific answers.

Give them the method, let them put it in to practise.

    Edit:

I think for something like languages you need to speak to her teacher directly, or put a note in her french book explaining that your child is having great difficulty in understanding what she needs to do, and you are unsure of how to help her.

By communicating your worries to her teacher you can help eachother and your daughter understand her needs in this subject.

Is there an after school languages club where she can go to get help? if not can she suggest to her teacher it might be an idea to set one up for pupils?
Homework is designed to make your child think rather than for you to produce the answers. Tell her the method (if you know!) but don't do it for her. Eventually she will need to do exams and she can't take you with her.
You should help her anyway because if you don't, then she'll stay not knowing much. Show her how to do a problem or two and let her take it from there.
Perrsonally i suggest geting the child to do the work on their own in a seperate exercise book ; then the parent checks it and explains anything the child did not understand and the child makes their own amendments themselves as you go along. then the child copies thier final answers into the book that the school provides.
I have a seven year old, i agree with you that he gets far to much homework. I just help as much as I can, but make him work out the final answer. I also allow him to use the computer to find answers. Hope this helps.

Help!!! Need a parents advice on how to get rid of and kill headlice!!!?

I just asked this Q in health%26amp; Beauty but not getting much answers- I just got lice 2 weeks after my 4 month old neice got it from our nephew(my niece already has a ton of hair)-Me %26amp; my sister took all the pre-cautions -we treated it with Lice killing shampoo, washed everything in the house -vacumed the house and the car out -and even threw some stuff away - we also spent hours combing nits out of my nieces hair-We have been checking each others heads everyday and we have all been clear- So now 2 weeks later I cant understand how I got it today I found a lice bug and 4 nits in my hair!!- I just treated myself with the shampoo %26amp; have fine combed through my hair but found no more nits or bugs and have to wait 10 days until I can use the shampoo again -what else can I do besides nit-picking/combing them out in the mean time -any advice, remedies or products that have worked for you %26amp; your family - what about tea tree oil or vinegar?? Any suggestions - Help please !!!Help!!! Need a parents advice on how to get rid of and kill headlice!!!?
Mayonaise... cover the head completely (I mean the hair, not the entire head...) with mayo, and let it soak for a couple of hours. Then wash out with regular shampoo and rinse like normal.

This will suffocate the lice and kill them all, as well as weaken the bond the nits have on the hair stem. This method worked well for my children a few years ago when they got head lice from school.Help!!! Need a parents advice on how to get rid of and kill headlice!!!?
Olive Oil. Put a 1/2 bottle totally over the head area. Put a shower cap all over it. You will feel them moving and trying to run but it will be so slippery that they will die. They can't feed on the blood if there is not enough grip. Let it sit for a few hours then wash it out with the lice shampoo. Rinse and then comb her hair. Later wash it again to get the rest of the olive oil out. Again comb the nits.

This should get rid of the nits and lice. Remember it only takes 1 nit to start the cycle again.
well ive shaved my head but im not sure ur willing to do that
My mum used vinegar and a toothbrush on my hair. Seemed to work for me..
They say soaking your hair with kerosene will do the trick, and I am not even joking.

Just keep the matches away. LOL
you need to use kerosene. that is what i used in the past. it is strong enogh to kill.
coconut shampoo...it kills them...My sister is a hair dresser and done this for her child...
I got headlice years ago from a little neighborhood girl that used to come over and I used to do her hair with my hairbrush. I tried everything...Mayonaise, vinegar, lice treatments. Norhing worked. I went to the store and bought a hair coloring kit. It was a frosting kit but I used it over my entire head. It worked. My child also got it a couple years ago from school. I couldn't color her hair but I used the lice treatment. Everyday in between the 10 days for the treatment I would sit down with the nit comb and go through every inch of her hair looking for eggs. Clear ones. dark ones. Anything I saw. I pulled it out with the comb. If it wouldn't come out I would pick it out with my finger nails. It only takes one egg and you won't get rid of them. And of course I would wash everything and bag the stuff animals too. You have to be persistant and not be lazy about it or they will multiply quick and it will be worse.
Tea Tree oil is a natural pesticide. It will also help to heal any sores they have broken out on your head (I had a really really bad case of this a few years back) - and if you have it in your hair the mosquitos will stay away from you too.

That being said, dying my hair was what kicked it. But I also broke up with my boyfriend of whom I suspected was the one who kept giving it to me after I treated my head.
you must first learn their language, mate with their women, and in time, your differences will be forgotten
Okay, It's disgusting but you need to do this. Cover your whole hair with a beer or cover your hair and scalp with a coconut oil the pure one! MAINTAINANCE: Take a bath everyday
apply coconut oil every day and wash it away with shampoo thrice a week
hi the good way to get rid of head lice is to use vinegar it kills the eggs as well, put it on leave over night or couple hours use lice comb tried and tested on many occasions
I have five children and i had a real problem with headlice

what i found worked for them was use nit lotion overnight them comb through then apply some kind of lotion body lotion conditioner etc anything to make the hair slippy section all the hair and bit by bit put metal nit comb through each piece of hair because if you dont get rid of all the eggs your always goona get nits hatching out, then wash and shmpoo as normal also nits do not like hairspray so try using that each day its worked for my girls and have been nit free for two years but i still put a comb through on a regular basis hope this helps!!!
Try Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner, it does work and isnt harsh, if you use head lice shampoo too often the lice become immune and your in trouble also you can poison your system especially if you are using it on such young kids it happened to my daughter. Everytime you wash your hair comb it throu with a nit comb and it shouldnt get out of hand also the more you comb your hair you break the lices legs and they cant lay eggs
try calling the doctor...he can call somthing in to the pharmacy...that may work

Need ADOPTION advice! how can my soon to be husband adopt my son from a previous marriage to change his name?

i want to change my sons last name to my soon to be husbands last name. my son does not have my last name either. his father is nowhere in sight. do me and him have to be married to change it?Need ADOPTION advice! how can my soon to be husband adopt my son from a previous marriage to change his name?
You can petition the court for a name change. This can happen without an adoption. You need to wait till you are married to do it. A lawyer can advise you on how and the cost involved.Need ADOPTION advice! how can my soon to be husband adopt my son from a previous marriage to change his name?
If you're in the US it's almost never necessary to either be married or do an adoption in order to change your son's name. If all you want is a name change, contact the probate court in your state. Usually you fill out a form, write a check for the fee, and are given a court date. The reason you have to show up in court for the name change is that the judge is supposed to be comfortable the name change is not for fraudulent reasons before he or she approves it.
You're not even married to your new man and you want to give him 1/2 of all rights to your son? What on Earth are you thinking?

Most marriages do not last these days. Look at the relationship you had with your son's father. Yet, you want to rush headlong into having your son ';adopted'; by a man who hasn't proved his worth yet. You want to change your son's name, create a life-long legal relationship between this man and your son way too soon.

You need to slow down, calm down and wait a few years. I really don't think you have given this much thought. Do you have some close friends or family you can discuss this with? Adoption is a serious business. If you break up with this guy, he'll still have say so over you son until he's 18. If you marriage doesn't work out and he turns out to be the jerk of the century, he'll have control over you through your son for years to come. I just really have a hard time understanding your thinking in this matter. It's definitely not in your son's best interest.
You do not have to be married to change his name you just go to the court house and pick up a petition for a name change form and do what is required from your state to notify the bio-dad.

As far as adoption goes, you need to call an attorney because each state is different. My husband adopted my children from my first marriage and before we could even start the process we had to be married a year. Also I had no idea where my ex was, he was very behind in child support and had not seen the kids in over 5 years. All of this was grounds to involuntary terminate his parental rights. We did have to hire a warning order attorney to try to find him but when they were not able to the adoption was granted without his consent.
I would say you need to talk to a lawyer

YOu will need to get the father rights taken away, if he still have them

Or you need to fine him and sing his right away

One of these have to been done before you husband can adopt your son

    Be careful

I know a women that mother married a man when she was two

Her father left when she was a infant

    He adopted her

She never knew he was not her real father

He was the only father she knew

When she was 12, the divorce, and she never saw him again

As a women, that has left an impact on her

Before your husband adopt your son, make sure your husband will be in your son life. No matter what happen to them, he will be your son father.

Having two father leave, is an awful thing

Make sure he knows adopting is for life, if you stay together or not
After you've been married 6 months contact an attorney to start the process. The child's father will need to be contacted and he will sign off on his rights, request custody of the child, or the court will terminate his rights. He does have rights---didn't use to but in this day and age that's how the court works.

Yes you need to be married.
There actually isn't a set amount of time you need to be married before you can file for adoption. Try rapidadoption.com At any rate, it always bothers me when women get married and have to get an adoption right away. You don't even know it'll work out. Just because you needed a new husband doesnt mean your child needs a new dad. Maybe your child has a right to maintain his heritage and keep his last name.
What's the hurry? Does your son want his name changed? Why do you have to all have the same name? I have 3 boys, 1 has my last name , 2 have their own, they are 15,13,11. They would be very upset if I told them they had to change their names to my new husband's . And I know this because I just got remarried last year. Just think about it befoe you jump into it.
we just went through this... my husband adopted my son. We had to be married at least a year and then got an attorney to help with the process. I know in some cases you only have to place an ad in the last known town you ex lived in but in our case my ex showed up and decided to fight after not having contact for 4 years and was over $15,000 behind in child support. It took 1 1/2 years for it to be final and $10,000 in attorney fees but well worth it. I would call a good attorney and get advice and most will do a free consultation. Good Luck
You will have to find the father and he would have to sign away his rights first.

Second, you would need to be married for a certain amount of time (depending on where you live) before adoption could take place.
I think you have to be married at least 2 years and some effort needs to go into obtaining the father's permission, since the child carries his name.

I have started to get really bad heartburn in the last few weeks of pregnancy so much so that its waking me up at night. Ive tried gaviscon, rennies and milk but nothing seems to take it off any one got any better ideas?Has anyone got any advice on how to get rid of heartburn?
I used extra strength Tums when I was pregnant - helped soooo much !!!Has anyone got any advice on how to get rid of heartburn?
Try eating more fiber to absorb excess acid and you could try making ginger tea.
    Oooohh! I feel your pain!!!!!

I've been prescribed Gaviscon Advance which I've found to work better than regular Gaviscon, but sometimes even this doesn't do the trick. Check out Zantac 75 pills. They're the best treatment I've had so far for the heartburn, and I only wish I'd discovered them sooner!!

I was climbing the walls with it, especially after taking Rennies and various other tablets. It's a nightmare, isn't it?!

(You may need to get the all clear from the midwife or the doctor before taking Zantac pills but believe me they were the best things so far! You take one and it lasts up to 12 hours.)

Also, I got an email from the Mothercare people which said that watermelon or honeymelon is a good reliever of heartburn as it's cooling and refreshing, and there's nothing in there that will exacerbate heartburn any further. I haven't tried this though as I'm not very keen on melon, lol but thought I'd pass it to you in the event you might like to try!
Have you tried extra strong mints. My midwife recommended these and it eased it off for me. Good luck.
I had it quite bad and resulted to rennies - speak to your midwife, they may be able to suggest summit else - other than that, you're are just going to have to put up with it.

Lots of hair on the baby though (their head)
Saltine crackers worked wonders for me. I kept a package by my bed and would eat a few crackers when my heartburn was really bad. I hated heartburn! I hope this helps!
Gaviscon tablets. Huge great lemon horse pill things that taste like hell!!! Worked a treat for me and mine was so bad that i had blisters on my tongue.
With my first i had a bit of bicarbonate of soda in a bit of milk. Tasted like i was drinking liquid metal but it worked for me. (didn't get heartburn for 3 days after taking it)

Or you can try your local herbal shop for a natural remedy
try tums, or rolaids soft chews, both worked really well for me, and the rolaids soft chews actually taste pretty good.
Tums are safe to take during pregnancy. Have you told your Dr. about it.
Extra strength TUMS with calcium...it does wonders!
As well as taking Gaviscon (which works pretty well), don't eat after early evening, avoid foods like chocolate, coffee, tea and coke which contain caffeine, and you could try propping the head of your bed up by 5 or 6 inches.
Try Tums. They helped me the most. Also, try not to eat too close to bedtime. Because your muscles are all relaxing, your food is coming back when you lay down.

    Good luck!

    30 weeks with #2
do NOT use rennies!,they are tablets that contain bicarb of soda that can start off labour!,docs just say use gaviscon and avoid spicy food
i have this problem also. i would def. try asking your dr. if you can get a prescription med. that is what i have, and it still isnt perfect but it helps a lot, plus i think its true the eating close to your bedtime is bad, or large quantities of food at a time. smaller meals are probably best.
    OMEPRAZOLE !!!

I tried Rennies, Tums, Gaviscon etc and they didn't work.My doctor prescribed Omeprazole, it works a treat. It works by making your stomach produce less acid, unlike the others which neutralise the acid that's already been produced, the stomach just makes more.

Ask him if you can try it, it is only available on prescription.
Be careful what you eat, how late you eat and if need be my doctor said i can use tums or pepcid AC. I'd check with your doctor to see what otc stuff you can use. Hopefully it helps! I feel your pain sister!
when i was pregnant i had bad heart burn and introgestion i went to my doctor who gave me gaviston. it worked straight away. hope this helps.
Just take over the counter white tums (generic is fine) and drink 2% or whole milk. You will have to keep the tums by your bed and you will be making numerous trips a night to the fridge. Other than that....you can try to limit your food after a certain hour and watch what you eat for dinner. It is hard, I know!! My third daughter was the worste and she came out bald!! I had terrible heartburn with all four of my children!!
I drink lots of milk. It also is good for baby, so kill two birds with one stone.

I've got heartburn now thinking about it...hehe.
Weird suggestion but its helping me.... The love hearts sweets that you get from any shop. I dont know why, but it was rec by someone at work and it did make mine go away. Good luck, these past few weeks are hell, arent they?
    Tums, Tums, and more Tums!!!
    1) when you have ameal do not drink anything with it - not even a glass of water. Either have a drink half an hour before or an hour after but not at the same time

20 do not eat anything that is high in any specific substace e.g. high in sugar or high in fat or high in starch. make your meals well balanced and varied.

    3) Get some rennies - they were the only thing that worked for me when all else failed.
try half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in a wee bit milk its not very nice but its the only thing that works
Try Pepcid AC. My OB said that it is safe for pregnant women. If that doesn't help ask for a prescription. I took Protonix and I finally got some relief. Good Luck.
    TUMS...i went through 6 bottles...no joke....when i was pregnant
Eat small meals not too late at night. Also I find ginger beer eases it. Good luck.
Try to avoid foods that cause Heart Burn.

For example, things like orange juice causes heartburn. Try to not eat chocolate, or drink coffee. Tomato sauce, hot spicy foods. Fried foods also cause alot of Heart Burn. Also, mints cause really bad heart burn. Mints is something that ALWAYS gave me heart burn. Also try to not eat anything to close to bed time. It is good to give your body at least two hours to digest foods, then try to keep your head elevated above your feet. (This is hard, because they say to put blocks under your bed)

My Husband has very bad heartburn. These are the things that are recommended by his doctor to reduce it.

Also eat tons of Tums. If non of that helps, try to talk to your Doctor, they might be able to get you something stronger.
Tell your doc I got on a med that was safe for the baby but i cant remember what it is called
OK - Tums rock the known universe - I keep a roll in my purse and a pack on the nightstand.

Also, try not to eat at least 3 hours before going to bed. This gives you time to digest.

You may also want to eat smaller meals more often.

Try and figure out if it is a specific food that is bothering you. I'm avoiding anything tomato based (due to the acid levels) as well as Garden Burger and Ice Cream (both which seem to cause a serious reaction.

Finally, when all else fails, sleep sitting up.
try polo's or any other mints

I need advice/how big a deal is it to change a valve cover gasket on my 3.8L '90 taurus?

i've got some wrenching know-how, but can't find my taurus manual... the valve cover leaks, and it needs changing. i've done the job on my '69 mustang, but this looks a bit trickier. so, is it a huge deal (%26amp; i need to hire someone), or should i just man-up and do it? any advice in getting the job done? thanks a bunch!I need advice/how big a deal is it to change a valve cover gasket on my 3.8L '90 taurus?
Man up and do it. its not all that bad to do but you willhave to remove the upper intake plenum and replace the gasket to it also. no need to pay for something you can do yourselfI need advice/how big a deal is it to change a valve cover gasket on my 3.8L '90 taurus?
well there are two valve covers on the v-6 engine you have

not too bad of a job, may have to remove upper intake plenum if it goes over the rear valve cover in which usually they do, especially on gm and chrysler v-6 engines

    but easy to remove

    good luck

Sensitive subject need some advice on how to talk to my fiancee about the gym?

my fiancee got a gym membership a couple months ago and goes occasionally, like 2 times a week. only 3 weeks tell the wedding and i want her to hit it hard! she isn't out of shape by any means i just want her to fell her greatest come the big day and have no regrets. any advice on how to talk to her with out her killing meSensitive subject need some advice on how to talk to my fiancee about the gym?
This really doesn't sound like your thinking of her best interest here. She obviously feels just fine about the big day approaching and where she's at fit wise, or she would be taking it upon herself to go to the gym more.

There is no easy way to come out and say what you want to say to her without her taking it the wrong way. It just wouldn't make sense to me on why my future husband would be so concerned about me having regrets that I didn't work out enough before my wedding day.

If you want to get lucky on your wedding night and have the next few weeks go by smoothly, I wouldn't say a word. Let her work out as much as she feels comfortable doing it and just be glad that she is in shape.Sensitive subject need some advice on how to talk to my fiancee about the gym?
If you want to marry this woman, don't tell her that she needs to hit the gym more than she does.

    She's a big girl. She knows that if she doesn't feel her best she can go more often. Say encouraging things like ';The gym is really paying off, keep it up!';
Be honest with yourself, first of all. You don't care, so much, about how she'll feel on her wedding, you care about how she'll look. The only thing you can suggest is you two work out together and eat healthy, together, for the next 3 weeks. Tell her that you saw a book that showed a couple who slimmed down together in 12 weeks, and tell her you'd like to try this (The Book is called Body for Life). This is the least dangerous method you can choose, to bring this up to her. Personally, unless she wants to get into better shape, for herself, it probably wont work. You are in dangerous territory anyway, marrying someone, that you already want to change. What happens when she gets pregnant? Are you sure she is the woman for you?
Umm.. Dude. no. How would you like it if she told you to got to the gym more than you currently do.. You should love her as she is. She probably has bazillion things to prepare for the wedding.

I have 6 months left on my lease but I want to get out of it. Any advice as to how I can do this?

I also want to be sure that I dont encounter any legal issues and Im hoping to get my last month deposit back....I have 6 months left on my lease but I want to get out of it. Any advice as to how I can do this?
finding another tenant may help, so that the lessors don't lose any income from your actions. But they have to agree to it, before you can do anything. Ask them what you could do that would be acceptable to them.I have 6 months left on my lease but I want to get out of it. Any advice as to how I can do this?
Talk to the lessor and see if he would be kind enough to accommodate that the contract of lease be rescinded and for you to get your one month deposit back. I doubt that he would but I might be undermining a person's degree of compassion. If he is not amenable to it, you can try asking if you can sublease (you will lease the premises out to another for the next 6 months) or if he will agree to your terms so long as you find another one to take your place.
Legally, there is not much you can do, and most contracts prohibit subleasing.

However, you can get out of your lease if your landlord is reasonable and you help him out. I got out of my lease by doing the following:

    1. I gave my landlord as much notice as possible (so he could find another tenant and not lose money). You could even find another tenant on your own.

    2. I made sure my apartment was clean, clean, clean. A landlord is much more willing to help you if you show you care about his situation. He can show the apartment to full advantage if it is spotless.

You should be able to get your deposit back if your apartment is sparkling clean. Make sure you get the apartment inspected and get the deposit or at least a written promise for deposit return before you leave.
Read your lease. If there is a clause regarding an early lease termination fee, you are responsible to pay it as it is on your lease.

If there is no early termination clause, you are going to have to negotiate with the landlord.

Go into negotiations with the understanding that the landlord has no obligation to let you out of your lease, especially at no cost to you. The landlord would be doing you a favor, so do not go at him as though he ';owes'; you anything or that you have the upper hand. You don't.

Some states require the landlord to mitigate the damages by attempting to find a replacement tenant (at your cost), but others (Florida, for one) allows the landlord to leave the property empty for the remainder of the lease and collect monthly rent from you. Find out whether your state requires mitigation of damages or not.

Understand that the landlord can hold you liable for the rent until a replacement tenant is found or the lease expires. The landlord can hold you liable for any costs that he may incur due to your breach, such as but not limited to - advertising costs, agent fees, etc.

Let the landlord know that you wish to move out and are willing to have the place clean, ready to show and available to show as much and as often as the landlord needs.

Pay for advertising - you are liable for the cost anyway.

Offer to vacate a few days early if a tenant is found, so the landlord can make sure the place is clean and move in ready.

Any lapse (even if only days) in rent payment will fall on you. It is to your benefit that the landlord find a replacement as quickly as possible.

If the landlord finds a tenant to move in as soon as you move out, your obligatons have ended. The landlord has suffered no loss and has no right to withhold your security deposit as long as you have caused no damage to the property and paid any costs incurred due to your breach.

If the landlord has not found a tenant by your move out date, you are on the hook for the rent. The landlord can deduct any damages to the property, any costs incurred due to your breach and any rent monies owed from your security deposit.

Further, the landlord can sue you for any damages or rent above the secuirty deposit amount.
Sublet. You can't get out of a signed contract, but you can have another person sublet the apartment and pay on your behalf for the remainder of the lease. (Check to see first if subletting is allowed in the contract you signed with your landlord.)
Look over your contract, and see if there is an escape clause that you can use. If there isn't then, you're pretty much hosed unless you don't mind ';buying off'; the rest of the contract and paying the remaining six months of rent up front.
talk to your landlord. or make up something if you want. maybe its 'wrong' but say that someone is sick and you have to go move to take care of them. :) something like that.. be clever.
give your landlord as much notice as possible and try to find a replacement tenant to suggest to them
Find someone to move in right after you. So one month you pay, the next month your moved out and the other people pay .
Give 30 day notice here that is all that is required
check your lease agreement, but if it's just because you want out, odds are you can't without building up huge fees!

Anyone want to give some advice? How many times has this happened to you?

I feel like its impossible to know when you are in love. I have thought I was in love at least four times in my life. I always just jump to the conclusion that I am in love because the relationship is new. I now have a new relationship with a friend I have had for two years. We just admitted our feelings to each other while he is over in Iraq. Any one have any tips for me? So that maybe I wont have another miss. Thanks for all answers. Also how many times have you done this?

Anyone want to give some advice? How many times has this happened to you?
Love, true love, is a tricky thing to spot. Sometimes you have it and dont see it till its gone, and sometimes you think you have it only to find out you didnt.

First thing is realize that almost everyrelationship has its honeymoon period when you are new in it and things are great, that not love, that just enjoying being with someone.

A way to tell if you are truly in love is when no matter what you can work things out, and that they stick with you not only through the good times, but the really bad.

Your friend in Iraq, thanks to him for serving, may just want to be with someone cause he is so far from home. Not that that is a bad thing or I dont think you should give it a try. Just take things slow and enjoy being toghther and dont rush anything. Love is a lifetime endevor.

    Best of luck to you

  • If you would be prepared to offer me advice how to speak to my community mental health worker will you answer?

Since January 2005 I have been meeting with a community mental health worker. Her organization is a subsidized housing outfit which supports homeless people. I am a man from the suburbs who lucked onto the waiting list for this organization. Last autumn, 2006, I moved into a homelessness unit. This is my second unit with the organization but my first with my present worker. During the months before I took a unit, she showered me with kindness. Now that I am in the unit, her attitude has changed to include moments of meanness or cruelty, including derisive insults pointed at me and other people in my life. I am pressed to keep these appointments. We meet in public at a diner, and the organization pays her a supplement for gasoline; however I suspect we are out of bounds strictly-speaking in terms of meeting the requirements of meeting at home and going to see doctors. I think my worker would even like me to pay her for gas to go out for coffee with me. What is your advice? If you would be prepared to offer me advice how to speak to my community mental health worker will you answer?
Ask her directly if you have offended her in some way. Ask her why she prefers to meet in public instead of in your home. I was a public mental health worker and while I never was unkind to any of my clients, sometimes there were things about their homes that intimidated me. Just be honest and direct, don't accuse or challenge. If you really want to understand what is going on ask.If you would be prepared to offer me advice how to speak to my community mental health worker will you answer?
My advice would be to quit being a social leach. Start pulling your weight and shoulder your responsibility to pay taxes like the rest of us. I'm tired of supporting your social lameness. So, get off your butt and start accepting your responsibility to the rest of society.

Can anyone who operates a wildlife rescue give me some advice on how to get started?

You will need to be licensed to handle and care for wild animals, start with your state authorities to see what training and licences you will need. Most rehabbers have at least a Vet Tech degree, many have Degrees in biology.

Visit: International Wildlife Rescue Association on line, they have good information available for those interested in training.

Good luck! Can you give me advice how to earn 2,000$ in 3 months?I'm ready to work?
Give the best answer to 200 questions.
I know i'm most likely going to get some thumbs down here...

If you are 18 or older and have a digital camera you can take nude pics of yourself and sell them online. I've seen several people make quick cash but i'm not sure of an exact figure. There are many places to sell them... i think you can even sell them on ebay.
    get like 5 jobs
    Babysit...
I say you should search for work and try to maintain a suitable hustle. Think of how you can utilise your talents and intelligence (in your hustle AND your work) Look for work in ALL ways; friends, family, internet, tv, newspaper, radio etc. Think of something that you can bring to people locally and find a way to get it and sell it. Allow people to hire you to do personal jobs because this can often pay well (a great amalgamation of working and hustling). Do all this in an efficient, time keeping way and that cash should be yours...

    Hustle %26amp; Grow
    no 2 much 4 u 2 young 2 quick dreammm onn
    just get a job
i don't think you LEGALLY can, but if i where you i might try the non-white market(shhh, i never answered this question)......
Don't rob!! it's a bad thing..actually that is not the reason why u shouldn't... but.. there are cops!

I'm kinda being silly here, well look, I always keep gettin' these u know 'spam' messages, talking about working right from ur home using the pc and stuff, I haven't tried any yet, but lately eBay has smth concerning that, the salary is quite good, so u may wanna try ur luck, I dunno if it's working for you, but I guess it's worth a shot!

    Good Luck!
Put up a webcam of you and charge a subscription fee. Its totally amazing what people will watch. Cmon if people can buy toast with the image of Jesus on ebay think what you brushing your teeth could do.

In falling deeper in debt but pursuing my dream. Any advice on how to stay afloat?

I've done the corporate thing, and although it made me a decent living, I was miserable. So I made the commitment to myself to pursue my music career, ALL THE WAY. Not trying to find time after a long hard days work at a stuffy corporation then come home EXHAUSTED and try to muster up some creativity to write some music. I just wasn't working at all. Since i've been unemployed my craft has gotten stronger, and I know its only a matter of time until it really starts to pay off (i've made a few bucks here and there, but it's not steady). Being unemployed is really starting to take its toll. I have montly benefit checks that come in but its not nearly enough to pay my ever growning debt. Any advice on how to take control over this situation? I know that getting a job is the most obvious choice but getting a job will take away from my music, which I am working full time on. It's tricky but I know it can be done... I just don't know how!In falling deeper in debt but pursuing my dream. Any advice on how to stay afloat?
I know you're not going to like my answer but we have to be real here. You don't want to get deeper and deeper in debt. It's OK to dream but follow your dreams on your days off. On the weekend or when you get off work I know you're tired but following your dreams comes with great sacrifice as you know already. In falling deeper in debt but pursuing my dream. Any advice on how to stay afloat?
Why don't you teach private music lessons? This way you will be able to do what you love, while teaching others. Even though you don't want to work, I am sure you would be able to get a part-time position 20 hours/wk and wait tables, etc. Just b/c you don't want to do it doesn't mean you don't have to.
You need to have an income at all times. I know lots of artists. A very small handful make a living at it. Eventually you'll have to make a living either at music or at something else. Why not do casual gigs? You usually make 300 a night doing those. What about giving lessons. What about a part time job. You said it's only a matter of time before it pays off. It's not paying off now. It could be years before you sell anything. Face it, there are thousands of people doing the same thing you are. There is a real posibility you will never make a living at this. You're setting yourself up for a real disaster. Like I said, I know lots of artists and the one who last have substantial adult incomes. Usually apart from their craft. Persue your dream but face reality. If you're really ready to do what it takes, realize it'll probably take two full time jobs. One is for the music, one is for the income.
    Go to school.

I don't know if you have a Bachelor's, but graduate school is great! They'll usually pay you a little to teach some undergraduates the fundamentals of whatever you're learning to do at a higher level. If you didn't do undergrad, then what better time?

You can meet lots of like-minded people, especially in grad school. People who are in the same spot you are. You can learn from extremely bright, experienced individuals (profs) how to do your craft better than you ever imagined. You can usually take some college loans which offer a much better interest rate than any other source of debt....

I love grad school, if it isn't obvious :)
I am sorry I wish I had a answer for you, all I know is that you need to think postive, something good will happen, Have you heard of the secret, well check this out, BELIEVE ME, this dvd has changed my life, you can download it for free, PLEASE WATCH IT...

the neatest thing i have ever found to cook a turkey is a turkey bag. i believe it is from reynolds co. you just flour the bag, put the turkey in and set it in a cake pan or roaster. let it cook on its own until the timer pops out! it is the single easiest way to go and very easy instructions!

I am a new online baby boutique owner, I need advice on how to promote my business on a small budget!?

I am looking for advice on how to market/advertise my online baby boutique with a very small advertising budget. I signed on with Network Solutions, and they have reworked my site to be more easily recognized by the search engines. I have also signed up for their keywords campaign. But at $700.00 a month, I don't think that is the best choice for me. I am at a loss with trying to figure it out on my own. My budget is very small. I am looking for ways to promote my boutique and bring in shoppers. I am so busy with all of the other facets of the business, that I don't have tons of time to devote to researching different ways of advertising. What are the best ways to get my boutique noticed and shopped? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I am very dedicated to the success of my boutique! Thank you!I am a new online baby boutique owner, I need advice on how to promote my business on a small budget!?
Instead of marketing globally on the internet, try marketing locally. Have people in your area visit your site. This can be done with flyers, direct mail, a nice brochure at every OB/GYN offfice in your area, as part of a nice package that new mothers usually get from the hospital after their child is born. It's much cheaper to focus locally, and it gives you the chance to talk to people which is the most effective form of marketing. Good Luck!I am a new online baby boutique owner, I need advice on how to promote my business on a small budget!?
U should try to outsource your seo. That is probably what the current seo company u are with is doing themselves. I know of a very good seo overseas who has done work for me and can create a very strong linkbuilding campaign to get u top 10 results in the major search engines for your keywords and he charges half of that per month. Just email me if u want his contact info.

Hes done very good work for me and has a small portfolio.

  • I want to be a wedding planner and I need advice on how to start.?

Hi My name is Tiffany and I want to start my own business as a wedding planner. I was wondering if there was someone that can give me advice on how to start and get into the business?? All information is appreciated! Thank you!I want to be a wedding planner and I need advice on how to start.?
OMG Tiffany (Hey, that rhymes, lol) Wedding planners are sooo important. The wedding planner at my weddign was a life-saver. Here are some good tips!

    1. Learn about weddings

There are many details involved in planning a wedding -- from selecting the wedding date to choosing the menu for the reception. You can learn how to plan weddings by attending and helping out with as many weddings as possible, visiting bridal shows, reading wedding magazines, and talking to recently married brides.

    2. Create a portfolio

A portfolio is a collection of photographs that show people your skill at planning weddings. To develop a portfolio, offer your services to friends and family who are getting married in exchange for pictures for your portfolio. (You can ask them to write reference letters for you as well.) You can also include photographs of table settings or room decorations you have created in your home, or pictures from your own wedding to show your creative side. This will appeal to future employers!

    3. Find a job in the wedding industry

Even if you plan to start your own business, consider getting a job in the industry first. Besides employment benefits, these positions can be used as a stepping-stone to gain valuable experience and contacts. Wedding coordinators are hired by hotels, country clubs, and churches across the country. Some of the more exciting options include working as a wedding coordinator at an attraction such as Disney World or at a resort in a location such as Hawaii, Las Vegas, Europe or the Caribbean. Oooh-la-la!

    4.Choose a specialty

Wedding planners offer a variety of services and packages based on their specific skills . For example, some wedding planners specialize in arranging ';destination weddings'; at resorts or on cruise ships. Decide which services you would like to offer.

    5. Develop relationships with vendors

Vendors are suppliers of any product or service related to weddings, such as limousine companies, musicians, photographers, party supply companies, invitation printers, etc. Vendors can be great networking allies. Conduct informational meetings to learn about their services, and what discounts they can offer you as a wedding planner.

Before recommending a site for a wedding ceremony or reception, visit and inspect the premises. Take notes on the condition, size, cleanliness and capacity of each venue so you can guide your clients in making suitable choices. Always follow up with vendors after the wedding with a thank you note or to discuss any changes you want for future.

GOOD LUCK!!!!I want to be a wedding planner and I need advice on how to start.?
i would recommend getting your feet wet with a caterer or hotel that does a minimum of 40 weddings a year. also working with a church(es) wedding coordinators. there is so much more to it then the movies. things will pop up and you will have to be able to control and fix every situation. the timing will need to be coordinated so knowing how long it takes to serve the food (and how to carry a tray) are imperative, cutting the cake.... all those things. once you have the experience....

i would work a couple/few years with a reputable hotel or hall/venue. do the extras on your own and that will allow you the ability to build and grow and garner a reputation - on someone elses dime.

do you have a degree? getting your CMP is helpful but nor mandatory. THere is the ABA and Special Events..... tons of things around. what state are you in??

feel free to email if you want to have a dialogue.
To start Try to go to work for a wedding planner or hotel.Learn all you can and you may have to work for peanuts for a while but you are gathering knowledge. Some planners may welcome free help if you offer. It is a very big job so get ready, and the hours are long and you must be creative.

Could someone please give me some advice on how to reconcile with the problem below?

My ex-spouse recently got married at the same church that we got married 15 years ago and where our two children were baptized. I was deeply hurt!! Could someone please give me some advice on how to reconcile with the problem below?
Grow up and become an adult. He's your ex, what he does is his business and has no reflection on you.

The fact that you choose to stick your nose into his business and then choose to get hurt by it is you being a childish little girl that still thinks everything is about you.

Big surprise he left you, what he does is not about you anymore.Could someone please give me some advice on how to reconcile with the problem below?
Hmm...that's a tough one, for sure. I guess you could look at it from the point of view that at least he's still wanting to have a connection with the faith that you both would like your kids raised in? Don't know...must be a painful situation for you. Take care. %26lt;3
Move on. It's not worth dwelling over.
    ok dont think about that

the only resion he did that is to remember you

    and the kids
That was probably the point ,don,t let him know how it effected you.Do you only have one church in town ?
its a free country. be hapy for them! you dont have to go to the wedding

It is only a place to be shared by many things, by many people.

Find happiness in this strange situation.
I wish my ex would remarry. He's a pain in my neck.
i guess he has the choice to get married anywhere he wants to, and he may have did it because he knew it would bother you, lifes to short to worry about things lik that
You must still have feelings for him and you're not really over him. Let me tell you something, get over him. Go out with friends, keep yourself busy with work, the kids, or anything to help you stop thinking about it. Once you start your new life, you will then be able to look at this as another page in your life book and move on.

    Please answer this:

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
It is natural to feel deeply hurt.

    It's like you never existed.

The most important identity you can have is to belong to a community of worship, to be married there in front of God and the community, to bring your children into the community through baptism.

Why do you think your ex did this? To tell the community and the children it was her church? To make you history?

If I were you I would take the kids and go to the next service and be of service to the church. Service will be remembered long after the pretend ceremony fades.

You can only get married for the first time once.

My ex-friend stole a husband at his family's church, breaking up the family and then continued to go to the same church with her new blended family. I told her I didn't want my daughter to hang out with women who betray other women. They got divorced two years later when the man realized how much he lost.
Maybe that is the reason for getting married there. Wonder how they'd feel if you showed up for every church service they attended there?

I need advice on how to talk to my boss?

My boss keeps adding tasks and not adding money or hours. I work part-time, but he expects me to do full time work but not stay over my part time hours. I have tried to tell him that nothing is getting done, but he won鈥檛 listen to me...any advice?I need advice on how to talk to my boss?
How about this: Keep a list on the computer of all the tasks you are supposed to do. Put a column for ';estimated time to complete';. Mark things off the list when you are done. Maybe have a column marked ';date completed.'; Show him that you have many hours of open projects, but only so many hours per week. If you work 20 hours per week, and have 80 hours of open projects, then type at the bottom ';4 weeks worth of work.'; Give him a copy of this list every week and keep a copy for yourself.

You can also use this same list to prioritize which is most important.....I need advice on how to talk to my boss?
I took a mini-conference on ';How to Get Respect'; for administrative assistances. It was really about people not understanding how much we do. This is what they suggested:

    1. Make a list of all duties

    2. Add deadlines for each

    3. When you give a time/date for something to be completed make sure it's accurate. Error on the side of giving yourself extra time.

    4. Touch base with him on a regular basis, maybe even daily, to show the progress (on non-progress) of things.

If he sees a long list he will hopefully understand why others are not getting done.

    Good Luck!
First, if you don't have other employment options, you may not want to push the issue.

However, if you feel strongly about your case, put it in writing. Deliver a to-the-point memo that indicates that 1) you like your job and that you would be happy to do more, but that 2) if your duties are going to increase, you need either more compensation for getting more work done in less time, or more hours per week to get the additional work done.

It might be best to just have it two or three sentences, polite and with no ultimatums or personal comments. It may be that there just isn't the budget for what you think is fair. In that case, you need to find another position. Good luck!
First you must be prepared to handle the conversation. Have 2 or t3 solotions to suggest for any problem that you pervceive. Read ';How to win friends and influence people'; by Dale Carnegi. It is a foundation work in the arena of people skills. Also reckognize that you have to show the boss how it helps him to solve the problems. Also , there are those that are just immovable. If that is the case , and you are unhappy, find another job.
do only the work he is paying for and what does not get done bring to his attention actions speak so much louder than words
You need to show him everything that's in queue. You need to ask him which is a priority, which needs to be done second and so forth. Lay it all out and show him. Ask for direction. If it's too much, he needs to know.
You have to really, really try and get his attencion. If he doesn't listen to you then you have to get tough and tell him whats happening. Or write him a note or sumthing, like a letter letting him know. You don't want to get blamed on sumthing that he think you did but you didn't do it because he wasn't listening, right? So don't get toooo tough because you don't want to get fired. So just try and talk to him and set up a appiotment and talk to him. If he doesn't listen tell him he has to because if he doesn't nothing if going to get completed. Just try it because in order to have a great job, and a great job experience....your boss and yourself have to communicate. Wish you the best luck! :)e-mail me for any other advice or more advice at: michelle_beauty101@yahoo.com
Ask him to help you prioritize your tasks. Let him know that you have a lot of tasks to accomplish each day %26amp; that since there's no real way to get them all done in the allotted hours, you'd like his feedback on what is most urgent/important %26amp; what can wait. You can also let him know if you're available to work more hours that you would be happy to stay late to get more done.
Do the amount of work that can be done in the duration that you are there. When it's time for you to go home and all the work is not done, tell him ';I didn't finish all the work you wanted done because I've run out of time. If you would like me to stay and finish I will but I expect to be paid for it. Otherwise it will have to wait til tomorrow to get done.'; If he keeps pushing, find another job.

Please I need an advice? How to get rid of this car?

I have a 1999 honda prelude with 190,000 I know is high still runs good

    I owe $4700

I want a car with fewer mileages and I know that the car is not worth that much! I can't get another car if I don't get rid of it!

So do you have any advices..

can you Transfer the car to another person?

can you go to your bank and have that bank finance another person! Please I need an advice? How to get rid of this car?
I'd pay your about $500 for that car.

Now you have to find $4200 of your own money for me to get my title for my newly purcahsed car.

    See how this works?

Good. Please I need an advice? How to get rid of this car?
If the car isn't worth $4700 how are you going to get anyone interested in buying it? You can't transfer the car to another person and the bank isn't going to find anyone to finance the car if it isn't worth the money you owe on it. You have to pay off the loan before any of that can happen.

You really have no options. You can keep driving it or you can sell it and lose money. The good news is you claim that the car still runs good. So stop worrying about the mileage and just continue to maintain it well and keep driving it.

I think the real issue here is determining how you got into this situation in the first place. You need to figure that out and avoid making the same mistakes in the future. Live and learn. Life is tough and not always fair. In fact it is rarely fair.

If you would be prepared to offer me advice how to speak to my community mental health worker will you answer?

You will need to be licensed to handle and care for wild animals, start with your state authorities to see what training and licences you will need. Most rehabbers have at least a Vet Tech degree, many have Degrees in biology.

Visit: International Wildlife Rescue Association on line, they have good information available for those interested in training.

Don't rob!! it's a bad thing..actually that is not the reason why u shouldn't... but.. there are cops!

I want to be a wedding planner and I need advice on how to start.?

Go out with friends, keep yourself busy with work, the kids, or anything to help you stop thinking about it. Once you start your new life, you will then be able to look at this as another page in your life book and move on.

Grow up and become an adult. He's your ex, what he does is his business and has no reflection on you.

The fact that you choose to stick your nose into his business and then choose to get hurt by it is you being a childish little girl that still thinks everything is about you.

Big surprise he left you, what he does is not about you anymore.

Planning on moving. do you have advice on how to fix your house?

i would like to know what you did to get ready fo r when you were going to sell your house and if you never sold your house before what advice do you have

and how to sell your house at the top price

how to get the price you want

thanksPlanning on moving. do you have advice on how to fix your house?
I don't have much advice about fixing up, but I do recommend using the company Buy Owner instead of a real estate agent. it will cost you 1/4 of what a realtor charges, and your house is advertised in a catalog and online until it sells. They come out and take professional photos, and handle all the paperwork for you. You have to set up appointments and show the house to the prospective buyer, but it's worth it to save some $. My hubby and I were moving out of state so we hired a friend to show our house for us. The whole process was very smooth, and they were easy to work with and very informed.

Good Luck!Planning on moving. do you have advice on how to fix your house?
    Go neutral!

That is the single best piece of advise anyone can give.

You need to appeal to a large group of prospective buyers.

Paint over loud, bright, or dated colors with off white paint.

Make buyers feel they could move right in.

    Box up clutter.

Leave open spaces on shelves and surfaces.

Febreeze the carpets, couches, and drapes.

If you are spending any amount money. The best things to update are the fixtures in the kitchen and bath.
Start at the curb, take a picture of the house's exterior. Then study it carefully. Back when we took slides I'd suggest turning the slide backwards so it seemed like a different home. Study it for first impression. People won't even leave the car if there are problems outside, broken gutters, bad concrete, needs paint (you can sneak by and just paint the front), etc.

You might consider taking pictures of the interior rooms and look at them carefully. Ask friends to comment on what they see. Don't be offended if they suggest changes. Listen, they may help you sell that house which is the goal. Your feelings have to be put aside.

Front door is first impression. Clean, neat, no dog scratches on the door.

From then on clean, uncluttered so the house appears larger. Move out extra furniture, books, misc items. If you want to keep and move this stuff, rent a storage locker. Go sleek but not stark. They are there to see the room size, not your collections of ancient tribal African masks. If the bedroom furniture barely fits, for the sake of selling the house, get rid of some items. You want the furniture in your house to fit. Clutter doesn't sell.

As mentioned above, no stains on the carpets.......I'd be in trouble there. If wood floors, get them shined up. No cracked floor or wall tiles. No pet smells. Either wash the walls or repaint them in neutral tones. People may not like that purple wall you just love. They can paint it their favorite color later.

Kitchens and bathrooms sell a home. How do your's stack up? Check for leaks and repair. Declutter. Fix anything broken, loose or looks bad. Kitchen re-do are very expensive, do what you can to make yours look it's best without breaking the bank. Declutter, paint, new hardware on the cabinets, a nice tablecloth on the table are all ideas.

Bathrooms of course can't have mold....icky. Keep the decor simple, remove magazine racks, etc. Shine up everything.

Clean all light fixtures, lamps and windows. Because when the house is being sold, you want to turn on the lights, even if it is day time. Open the drapes or blinds wider than you would normally. Well lighted homes sell better than dark gloomy homes.

Before the people arrive, turn on the hotwater faucets so the hotwater is available quickly.

In a conspicuous spot have a one page synopsis of the house and picture. Also include a map showing location of shopping, schools, parks or other important locations that may help with the sale. Have plenty of copies for them to take.

Don't be there when the house is sold. If the people have questions, it needs to go thru the realtor. People tend to sabatoge their own home sale.
    clean, clean, clean,

OUTSIDE -- pressure wash anything you can, repaint if at all questionable -- then dress up the landscaping -- weed and feed lawn -- plant flowers -- keep it well groomed.

INSIDE -- repaint , shampoo or replace carpets, remove ALL clutter, leave a minimal amount of decorations -- or better yet -- clear out entire rooms to storage -- you're going to have to pack when it sells anyway.

Getting top dollar means getting a top Realtor -- interview, get CURRENT references and his/her track record for your neighborhood and price range. Negotiate the shortest listing possible -- never more than six months -- in case you pick a loser. Be a polite squeaky wheel and make sure they advertise !!
get stains out of carpet, repaint walls if they need it, thinks like that, if there is anything broken in the house u should fix it. things like that would b good to do. i hope this helps! =)
Paint in neutral tones - not too dark and not too light. Remember that you want to appeal to the masses, but just one person's taste. Pay particular attention to the kitchen and bathrooms. They can make or break a sale.
just clean it. the buyer has their own ideas, but sell as fast as you can because house prices are about to drop dramaticly.
