Any advice on how to impress/squire women in Seoul?

I'm doing the ESL thing over there. I'm a 27 yo white male.Any advice on how to impress/squire women in Seoul?
Just be a gentlemen and treat the ladies in Seoul right. There are lots of women who prefer dating white males (for various reasons), especially if you're a native English speaker, decent looking and have some money. It helps to pick up a little of the Korean language, but many women speak at least some English in Seoul.


To be simple, if you impressed women in your home country, you will be able to impress them here too. If you didn't impress women in your home country, you probably won't impress them here either.

Learn their language and culture.
Be serious about your job. Be a professional at work. Don't treat Korea like your playground and don't act like your time in Korea is just one big long vacation. Don't come to work late and hung over. Don't act like the only reason why you came to Korea was to bed some women. I taught in Korea recently, myself, and unprofessional behavior by Western teachers gives a bad impression, so watch your P's and Q's, and you will be adored.





Yes, Korean men can be very paranoid about seeing an Asian woman with a Western Caucasian man. If the roles were reversed, where an Asian man was with a Western Caucasian woman, nobody would care, not other Korean men nor the Korean women. There is definitely a double standard. All Korean men are required to serve in the military. While there, they pick up some habits that aren't exactly endearing to the women. Many Korean men start smoking when they are in the military, and they find themselves unable to quit afterward. Women are much less likely to smoke. Women are also less likely to get drunk. Women are more likely to stay in at night rather than go to the bars, noraebangs, and PC bangs. A man willing to stay at home with his wife, and who doesn't drink or smoke is a prized possession to his wife. Somehow, a lot of Korean men haven't caught on to this yet. I knew a Canadian who was ethnically a Filipina who was teaching English in Korea. I was barely acquainted with her, let alone having a relationship with her. We grabbed a taxi to go somewhere, and the taxi driver assumed the worst. He scolded the woman harshly and shook a finger at me. The Canadian woman didn't understand a word he said. He was just barking up the wrong tree. He didn't even know how wrong his assumptions were.
seriously dude, most koreans including women are heavy drinkers, they get horny and do some crazy stuff when they get drunk, so if you can outduel them in drinking then they're all yours for the taking...





and one more thing, can you stand the smell of kimchi? if you can then no problem.. if you cant, then there's gonna be some dilemma, a very drunk, very pretty, very sexy korean girl who smells like kimchi, what do you do?

good luck, very small percentage are open to dating ';bea geen nom'; = white person, aka ';yan kee'; as some ppl refer to you guys.. it will be frowned upon and ppl will give you weird looks and stares, trust me i live in Seoul, South Korea....On top of that the girl your dating, parents will disown them so will their friends etc..





Lol 80's man u just answered what i was gonna write... you said ';they like me cuz i speak fluent english'; etc. Why do you think that is?? Alot of korean girls want to learn to speak english..they use u.. trust me i know soo many girls who use white guys just for the english itself.. and your a moron i see once in a great while a white guy with a korean girl.. and about 99 percent of the times the girls are ugly..Stop acting like you have any real knowledge about Koreans, when your not korean yourself nor lived in the country as long as i haved.
