Stretch before you do each excersize, do many other routines, then at the end, when you are all stretched out, do an attempt at a split. Put yourself further and further everyday. I was a gymnast when i was 5,6,7,8,and 11. I did floor, bar, beam, and trampoline. I was the best one at splits, but even now i cant do them! Its easier when you are younger because your bones havent completely fused together. Keep trying at your goal! Hope this helps! -Leila C.
