Well I put them down for good 5 years ago because I got a blood clot (DVT) in my leg. The hospital put the patch on me while I was there. When I got out of the hospital I bought the patches and used them for one month. I didn't really need the patches because I was on wellbutrin and that helped with the cravings. I also sucked on sugar free cough drops after I ate. You will have cravings once in a while, but always remember the craving lasts only 30 sec to 1 min. During this time, make yourself busy, and make your hands and mouth busy. Each craving gets weaker by the day!!! You can do it :)I need others advice on how they were able to put down cigarettes for good.?

if you need even more help try niccorette inhaler, they kina fake cigs, plastic,that gives you a boost of nigatine to slowly pull off.
do you want to give it up yes or no
then realise this, the moment you do your body will start feeling GREAT and after a few days you will of made it

for me, when i stopped the company of my smoking buddies and back to original school life, i quit it altogether for past 21 days. will i revert back to it? no. this is because i know how it taste it no longer fascinate me anymore.
I know it may sound bizarre but when I brush my teeth the last thing I want to do is smoke. Also everytime I increase my caffeine intake my nicotine intake reduces / stops, I guess its ok to replace smoking with green tea :)
