Any advice on how much exercise one should do to loose a large amount weight?

am on weight watchers, so far lost 1 and a half stone in 6 weeks, going gym 3 times week, loving it, any more advice welcomeAny advice on how much exercise one should do to loose a large amount weight?
Thats funny, devdog thinks fat can convert to muscle. Any health nut (his words) can tell you that you cannot turn fat into anything. You can however, burn this fat away using a combination of exercise and a healthy diet. The weight watchers point system is just an easy way for you to keep track of what you eat. You are not losing water weight when you follow this plan. His last sentence is the only one that makes sense...eat right and work out...ww can help with that.

Sounds from your info above that you are on the right track. The only advice I would have would be to increase the intensity of your work-outs, the amount of time that you do them, or the number of days per week that you exercise. You can do this gradually over a period of time if needed, just don't over do it. Good luck!!Any advice on how much exercise one should do to loose a large amount weight?
Yes...you are half way there but you are feeding into a scam that millions have become victoms to. Any health nut who works out daily will tell you, Theres no such thing as a magic diet that will help you lose weight...this includes weight watchers and all that other hoopla. Just make sure you increase your protien intake with chicken and fish while cutting back your cholesterol intake to include fried foods and greasy stuff....I'm here to tell you...the pipe dream is your belief that cutting back to small meals, nutrition bars and that sought of nonsene is the way to go. If you do this, you will lose lots of weight, however, the deception is that you will lose water weight and not fat...the water weight always comes back when you stop working out.. The name of the game is not really to lose weight but to convert fat into muscle...therefore, your focus should be on improving your cardiovascular by making the conversion. Eat hardy and workout hardy...thats the name of the game...if you feel and look good doing what you do, you will feel and look even better if you do what I'm telling you to do. I'm 42 years old and I look like I'm 25...I can run 5 miles at the drop of a hat...the other posters are selling you crap...you don't need to spend money...just eat right and work out...
