I have a pimple that itches and wont go away any advice on how to make it disappear?

i have a pimple on my face that dosn' t go away i dont know why. iv even used proactive and all it does is dry up my face and make it look red and wrose. please im only 15 and im afraid to even step outsid looking like this i need help.I have a pimple that itches and wont go away any advice on how to make it disappear?
It depends on how long you have had the pimple. If you have had it for more than a week then I suggest telling your parents that you would like to see a dermatologist. More than likely it is just a pimple, but a dermatologist would be able to tell you if it was something more.


In the meantime, try using hot, wet compresses on it (washcloth is good) to see if it will come to a head. If that works, then you can lance it and release the infection so that it can start to heal. Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE that it is a 'pimple' and not a 'bug bite' with a small white head? Try not using ANY soap on your face, but scrub only with 'hot water' and rinse three times with 'cooler water' each time (the third time it should be COLD water ... then get some CamphoPhenique and put a 'cotton swab' into it and 'dab that' onto the 'pimple' and get 'enough on' so that you have covered ALL the 'redness' ... if it's a pimple, the 'no soap washing' will take care of it ... if it's a 'bug bite' the Campho-Phenique (applied when itchy) will help you to 'dry it out' faster, and heal a bit more quickly.
