I need advice on how to handle a baby that doesn't like the church nursery.?

I've been working at my church nursery for a while and we have this one little baby (he will be 1 very soon) that just doesn't like the nursery. His parents started bringing him when he was about 6mo. And he has started to go to daycare mon-fri. His mother says he does fine at the daycare and doesn't understand why he doesn't do well in the nursery. The mother is very good at making us ( the nursery workers) feel like its our fault. Any advice!! We try many things with the baby, but it only gets him mad. I need advice on how to handle a baby that doesn't like the church nursery.?
Ask the mother what their child likes about the other daycare. What is he drawn to? Perhaps your nursery may be missing something that makes him feel comfortable (a toy, a picture of the wall).

If I understand correctly, the child is in daycare all week and then at a nursery during mass? That could be the problem since he is only there for such a short period of time and he has no time to get to know the staff.

The mother should also be assisting with the transistion and not just making comments.I need advice on how to handle a baby that doesn't like the church nursery.?
have you tried to find out what his favorite snacks are and have them waiting for him.

what if his dad brought him to class instead of mom, if that's what they are doing now.

can you take him outside to play at the beginning of class or even meet him outside and you take him in after his parents have gone in.

good luck
