Please give me any advice in how to become an awesome yugioh player and please don't send me your non-sense?

If you do not have anything productive to say to me then do not say anything at all to me, this is to no avail for you; otherwise feel free to let me know what you think or what is on your mind. Please give me any advice in how to become an awesome yugioh player and please don't send me your non-sense?
you can never be the best at yugioh, you can win the world championships, but come the next ban list, you can lose a crushing defeat to a beginning player who happened to run a deck more geared to the new format, and figured out new tricks before you, so here's the best three things you can ever do

1. research and read articles and forums like tcgplayer, pojo, metagame, and my site will have a good bit more to offer if my writing team will ever get off their lazy asses

2. duel as many people as often as possible and go through your collection to find cards that can break the game that other people might not know about and find new ways to play the game, the best way to test theories is to duel, duel duel, and while youre dueling, check out for other cards you may not be familiar with, and figure out how you could use them to your advantage (i recently re-discovered instant fusion which is a great fodder generator, which can seriously lay a beating in and on many decks)

3. HAVE FUN! a lot of people skip over this when they give advice to other people, do you think donovan mcnabb played football all of his life because, even though there was a 97% chance he wouldnt make it into the pro's, it paid good? no, he played all of his life hoping to be pro, but he got into football, and played football because he had fun doing it, sure there was a lot of hard work involved, but if you need to work hard, it's probably worth it, so if you put in your work above in this game, and always have fun instead of being business 100% of the time, you'll make it to a consistent level of play, and will probably be fairly successful in this game. good luck! Please give me any advice in how to become an awesome yugioh player and please don't send me your non-sense?
ahhhh.....learn to be the best at the game?
Practice and research. Know the rules and tricks of the game.

Read articles on Metagame.com. Post and respond in the POJO forum. Take the tournament organizers test. Net deck the top shonen jump decks and then tweek them for your area metagame. Play test, play test. Enter tournaments and stay in them even when your loosing, just so you can work out ideas on your deck.
what i do is when ever i lose to a normal deck(monarch) i try to remember why i lost. iif there is a reason, i take out the cards or put in new cards. if i play a not normal deck(remove or demise or burn) i side the cards i need and figure out the cards i would side out for them ... hope that helps! :-)
open a lot of boosters and try the last ones in the display(it's the box that includes the boosters!!!)

exchange deck idea's
Just try and first of all have a deck that works well with one another. Once you have a deck you are happy with just be sure to make the most out of every card you have. A lot of times you will see a lot of players use up to many cards just to get a free hit on you, then they spend the rest of the duel playing behind. Also it matters in the order you set cards and when you choose to activate them. For example i had two cyber dragons and snipe hunter in my hand. I also had scapegoat face down, and i activated it without thinking, this just messed me all up. I now could not summon my cyber dragon, and putting out snipe was now not an option. So be sure to think of what will happen for each card you play. Also don't be in a rush to go right for the kill, of course if you can attack go for it, but don't go putting all your monster out in an attempt to kill the other player in one turn. I all to often see players summon a cyber dragon, then another monster, then the use call of the haunted only to have me turn over mirror force when they attack. And now they have used up 4 cards for nothing. Also try and think what the other player is trying to do to you as well, when he is just setting trap and magic cards, is he going to play torrential tribute, or when he sets all his magic and trap cards, then he sets 1 card he might have morphing jar. So getting the best out of your cards, and using them at the right time is the key to win, but just sometimes the other guys deck matches up better against you, and some of it is just drawing the right cards first. good luck
Its hard to be an awesome player at yugioh. It takes lots of time and experience. All the updates in the game evry few months make the game interesting. Its all about having the better deck made to deal damage to the lifepoints with no drawbacks and very little defense against and the counter-strategies which can be interchangable in your own deck Ie: a side deck. its hard to keep up, but the feeling of being great is what we strive for.

invest in what you know what will work in a deck and try to defend against evry trick and combo playable in most mainstream decks because thats all u need to worry about. hope some of these statements prove useful cuz thats what i think. ^_^
