First you have to eliminate the smell of urine from those areas he frequents. Dogs have excellent sense of smell and can continue to smell the urine long after you.

There are several products on the market that work, but the key is to go all the way to the bottom source, such as the padding in carpet. I found that spraying vinegar on those areas after removing the odor also helped prevent my dog from returning to those areas.Hi,can anyone give me advice on how to stop my one year old dog peeing inside?
Give him a good brisk 45 minute walk every day. Spray the side of your leather lounger with some white vinegar, and use white vinegar to clean up whenever he pees in a bad place. Yeah, your house will smell like vinegar, but it is better than pee, and will discourage him from peeing there. If you don't watch him close, he will just find another spot to pee. Keep him with you all the time, or lock him in a kennel when you can't pay attention to what he is doing. Neuter him, if you haven't yet.
Yea, if he pees on the floor and stuff like that, first of all, rub his nose in it, then swat him on the *** a few times then put him outside for a while, continue this for a while then he will learn! that's the only way dogs learn not to potty in the house! Then don't give him anything to drink just before bed!
No more papers... this encourages the floors as a pee spot. Start with this, at a year old they are not to be peeing in the house nor needing a paper to excuse the laziness from not wanting to ask to go outside. The couch, well, from my experience, he is spoiled and knows he can get away with it. Show him who is boss and what is not tolerated. Every time he pees on the floor, take him to it, point him at it, (not the nose in the pee thing) Show him the pee, tell him BAD repeatedly. Then escort him to your bathroom and shut the door. If he did not 'finish' his job, do this and then put him outside on a chain for about an hour ignore his asking to come in for a little while.

Also at night time, make him sleep in the bathroom with the door shut. Also when you go away too. It could be a jealousy thing if he is doing it while you are gone.
Give him a girlfriend!!!
hi, my puppy did that but i got into the habit of taking him outside regularly and rewarding the dog when it had done its business, you can stroke him cuddle him give him a biscuit. there are many ways of rewarding a dog. hope this helps
The best thing to do is to just take him out regularly and get him used to using the bathroom outside. Also try using pee pads they work for some but not all dogs. When he uses the bathroom where you don't want him to make sure to punish him accordingly an he will learn. Just give him time.
kick his ***,put him out.every time he messes up.its your fault, not his
